The battle between Volup and Wolta was to be the most interesting match of all last round matches. Volup was the favourite, but Wolta's form had been rising recently...
Both teams had already qualified to play-off round, so this match was about to set up the standings in the top four just before the big final.

It was a better start for Wolta - they really didn't have to do much to put themselves in the lead - they just waited for our mistakes and on that day they really got lots of them!
We couldn't get into the match as we were playing week in the reception and attack. Our serve was also not working properly... Wolta was controlling the set till the end and won it 25-22.

Nothing changed in the second set -  Wolta was still pointing out our mistakes in almost every element and deserved to win with even bigger advantage 25-19.

We came back in the third set as we started playing the way we always play. We  received well, the setting and attack was working all the way too. The score changed rapidly, and Wolta couldn't do anything to stop us. We won this set 25-17. If we had played like this before, we would have finished this match by winning 3-0...

Unfortunately in the fourth set, which turned out to be the last one later , we returned to our week form from the beggining...  it all started from the bad reception again and like a chain reaction, all the other elements (setting, attack, block) failed too. Wolta didn't play spectacular, but was calm and regular and it was enough to win the fourth set 25-21 and the match 3-1.

It was our worse performance in the season. We all felt that it was Volup loosing the match , not Wolta winning it... But there will be a chance to revange soon, couse in the play-offs Volup is facing Wolta again, but this time to fight for the place in the final!
